Home Selling Prep Checklist by Brad Jordan

Small prep work photographs well and shows well. Do what fits your timeline and budget — Brad will help you prioritize.

• Declutter room by room: remove personal items and extra furniture

• Deep clean: floors, windows, kitchens, and bathrooms

• Curb appeal: lawn, entry, porch light, house numbers, and mailbox

• Small repairs: dripping faucets, squeaky doors, burned-out bulbs, and scuffed paint

• Neutral touches: fresh towels, simple bedding, and clear counters

• Light it up: open blinds, turn on lights, and replace dim bulbs before photos

• Odors: air the home out; skip heavy scents

• Pets: plan where pets go during showings and photos

• Paperwork ready: recent updates, warranties, and HOA documents (if any)

• Showing plan: how much notice you need and your preferred showing windows
